DVD Storage Binders

Welcome to SlimDVDCases.net, a site dedicated to providing you with links to the best sales and stores online, plus information on why you should be investing in slim dvd cases instead of regular ones.

DVD Storage binders are probably the most space-effective way to store your DVD collection.  Because there are no individual cases for each DVD, you can fit 60 or more DVDs into a space the size of a large book, whereas individual DVD cases would take probably a whole bookshelf to store that amount.  So, if space is a concern for you, DVD storage binders are definitely worth investigating.

DVD binders come in a huge range of different sizes, capacities and styles, so you’re sure to be able to find something that will suit you.  First of all you need to think about the size you want, and how many DVDs you want your binders to be able to hold.  Large DVD binders can hold four DVDs per single sided page, or 8 per double sided page, so with 20 pages they can hold 160 DVDs, and with more pages even more.  Of course, you may prefer a smaller binder which is easier to handle, and if you have a lot of DVDs you could simply purchase two or more smaller binders.

You also need to think about the style you want and how much you want to spend.  Simple binders are made from nylon and plastic and are often available for $12 to $15 and sometimes even less if you get them on sale.  High-end binders are often leather bound and made to look like a fancy book from the side, and believe it or not, they can sell for $75 to $100 and even more.  For most people, the simple versions are fine but if you have some very special DVDs that you’d like to store, you might want to think about the more expensive versions.

One final thing to think about it whether you want a ring-binder type of arrangement, where you can buy additional sheets later to add in to the binder when your collection expands, or whether you prefer a pre-bound, closed binder where you can’t add extra capacity.  Each has it pros and cons but really it’s just a matter of personal preference.  If you’re the kind of person who has to keep things in alphabetical (or other) order, you should get a binder where you can add extra sheets later – than way, when you get a new DVD that starts with A, you don’t need to move every single other DVD in your collection!
